SUMMARY:Pine Belt Humanists Eats & Drinks Social
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our monthly Pine Belt Humanists Eats & Drinks Socia
l at SoPro on the first Sunday of the month!\n\nWhether you've been a huma
nist for years or you're just looking for a local secular community\, this
is a great opportunity to enjoy good food\, good drinks\, and even better
conversation in a relaxed setting.\n\nBecause SoPro doesn't take reservat
ions\, we'll arrive right when they open to (hopefully!) grab seats in the
front room where we can all sit together. Each table has a QR code for ea
sy ordering\, so everyone can order and pay individually-- no awkward chec
 k splitting required.\nCome hungry\, bring a friend if you'd like\, and sp
end the day getting to know fellow humanists. Look for the folks with name
tags!\n\nWe hope to see you there!\n\n--\n\nHumanism is a way of thinking
that values reason and compassion. It encourages us to seek truth through
science and experience\, live ethically\, and make life better for everyon
e—without needing religious beliefs. We invite you to join us as we stri
ve to build a more compassionate\, inclusive\, and thoughtful community he
re in South Mississippi. For more info about our group\, links to our onli
ne platforms\, and more upcoming events\, visit: https://www.pinebelthuman
ists.org/\n\nPine Belt Humanists is a group affiliated with the American H
umanist Association\, a nonprofit group advocating progressive values and
equality for humanists\, atheists\, and freethinkers. To learn more about
humanism\, visit: https://americanhumanist.org/\n\nPine Belt Humanists is
also an affiliate of American Atheists\, a group working to build a better
America– where nonreligious people can participate fully\, without disc
rimination or stigma\, and where all people are guaranteed equality.\n\n--
\nBy RSVPing and/or attending any PBH meeting\, you hereby agree to agree
and adhere to to PBH's Code of Conduct.\n\nOriginal listing: https://actio
