SUMMARY:Ride the Cyclone
DESCRIPTION:Ride the Cyclone\n\nBy Jacob Richmond and Brooke Maxwell\n\nWha
t if you got one more chance to tell your story?\n\nRide the Cyclone is a
wildly imaginative\, darkly funny and unexpectedly moving musical about si
x teenagers who find themselves together in the afterlife after a freak ac
cident. When a mysterious mechanical fortune teller offers one of them the
chance to return to life\, each must make the case for why they deserve a
second chance.\n\nWhat follows is part carnival\, part rock concert\, par
t fever dream and part existential group therapy\, with a gloriously eclec
tic score to match. Beneath the outrageous costumes\, strange characters a
nd wicked humor is something surprisingly tender: a story about who gets r
emembered\, what makes a life meaningful and how little we really know abo
ut the people around us.\n\nIt is theatrical in the best possible sense: b
old\, weird\, funny\, unpredictable and completely unlike the usual musica
l.\n\nRide the Cyclone brings you dark comedy\, unforgettable song\, and a
strange\, beautiful reminder that every life is its own story\, and that
sometimes the most unexpected shows have the most to say.\n\nApril 22\, 23
 \, 24\, 30\, May 1 @ 7:30pm\n\nMay 2 @ 2:00pm 2027\n\nOriginal listing: ht
