SUMMARY:Pine Belt Humanists Book Club
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Pine Belt Humanists Book Club!\n\nWhether you
’re an avid reader\, a casual book lover\, or just looking for a fun way
to connect with others in the community\, we’d love to have you join us
for a relaxed conversation about books and reading. And yes\, audiobooks
count!\n\nThis small-group gathering is a chance to talk about books we’
ve been reading\, share recommendations\, discuss favorite authors and gen
res\, and explore all kinds of bookish topics.\n\nRather than choosing one
book for everyone to read\, the group has chosen a genre\, and everyone c
an read any book they'd like within that genre. This month's genre is Nonf
iction!\n\nPick up any nonfiction book(s) that strike your fancy\, or orga
nize a buddy read. Read a classic\, discover a new author\, or revisit an
old favorite. It's up to you!\n\nAt our meeting\, we’ll talk about the b
ooks we’ve read\, swap recommendations\, share what we learned (and what
fell flat).\n\nNo assigned reading required.\n\nCome connect with fellow
humanists and enjoy an afternoon of good company.\n\nWe hope to see you th
ere!\n\n--\n\nHumanism is a way of thinking that values reason and compass
ion. It encourages us to seek truth through science and experience\, live
ethically\, and make life better for everyone—without needing religious
beliefs. We invite you to join us as we strive to build a more compassiona
te\, inclusive\, and thoughtful community here in South Mississippi. For m
